ROUND UP
Grays Athletic put last weeks shock FA Trophy
exit behind them to record a superb 4-0 win at
home to maintain their promotion challange.
Sheffield won at home also to continue their fight for a promotion place at the magnificent
Don Valley Stadium.
Erith & Belvedere took both points from a luck
lustre Witney Town before a small crowd, this
win pushes the Dares up to the mid table line.
Swindon Supermarine went out of this seasons
FA Vase competition at Bemerton heath Harlequins
and look only a patch on last years Hellenic
League Champions.
Dagenham fought well against promotion rivals
St Albans to gain a creditable draw, 2-2.
Gravesend who have put together some good
results of late fell apart at rapidly improving
Boreham Wood to drop a couple of places, whilst
Boreham Wood are looking better week by week.
Emley did their championship hopes a power of good
winning at Hyde, and sending a warning to the leaders.
Oving maintain their lofty position despite loosing 1-0 at Westfields.
Langney Sports had a weekend off.

MATCH REPORT
Northwood v Buckingham Athletic FA Vase
Spartan South Midland League side Buckingham
Athletic were no match for Northwood even on
this poor Wood showing. The Isthmian League
Division 2 promotion contenders opened the
scoring after 5 minutes a brilliant effort
from the resplendid Boreham. Allthough the
Yellows responded shortly, it was of no shock
that Boreham scored his second to send, Athletic
in at half time 2-1 down and one player short
for comments to the linesman.
The second half was a continuation of the first
except that the Spartan League side stopped
arguing with the referee and played some crisp
football, however the reds finished off in fine
style with Boreham scoring his third toward the
end of the match, sending the majority of the
200+ crowd home happy to wait for Mondays 3rd
Round Draw.
